Longitudinal park
The new structure represents longitudinal green park with mediterian plants. The characteristc plants for the area of Dubrovnik, with pedestrian roads create one unique grid sorrounded by streets Put Republike and Dr.Ante Starčevića. The new business buildings, with public, social and commercial intentions, are inserted in green park. Two squares
The first tuch with new city structure coming from seaside entrance predictes two public squares. The first one is situated by the city market place and connected with central longitudinal park, the other one is formed in the green zone between free inserted business towers. The squares simbolize center of socialization in the city. Residential and business zones
This competition work consists reconstruction of some parts which with their forms and intentions are parts of existing structure of Gruž, they are not in the connection with longitudinal park but they complete urban pedestrian crossings with spaceand form elements, the relation between residential and business zones is fomed with the quality. |
