Architectural solution of student accomodation and nutrition at the University Campus in Rijeka
The series of a long gallery buildings are separated with a footpath, they are moving in the line north-south and with that simple procedure create semiclosed space which defines intimate space of garden of residential pavilion. With horizontal skid the buildings of pavilions are structured even vertically, lingering floors are shaped as a free positioned slip away volumes which with their own position permit the view for each residential unit toward a Quarner bay.
With this simple modification of ortogonal raster is kept, with the program predicted, number of residential units and assure functioning of a complex, with new silhouette the building avoids elongation of the silhouette of the building and the complex and the form which is created is typical for the skyline of Rijeka.
